"Thank God for the joys of family life. I have often said there can be no genuine happiness separate and apart from a good home. The sweetest influences and associations of life are there. Life cannot be fully successful, no matter what goals we attain in the material world, no matter what honors of men come to us in our lives, if we fail as fathers, mothers, and children."
nice, creative posting of the pictures Mari. thanks for getting them on the site. You are very clever when it comes to 'photo shop scrapbooking.'
Every Wednesday, Stephen and I attend the Wasilla library class for kids. There is a retired kindergarten teacher who sings, reads a story and teaches the kids how to make a craft. It lasts about 30 minutes and it's free! I meet a few of the sisters from my ward there. The nice thing about living in the valley is that you only have to drive a few minutes to get where you want to go. The library is only 5 minutes away. I love it. And, so does Stephen. It's nice to get out and socialize and check out some books to read to Stephen. We just got our library card last week, so we checked out some Halloween books, bug books and cow books. Very educational! Next week, I think we'll check out an Atlas. : )
Kary, you look so happy in these pictures!! Wasilla has really been good for you! Stephen is getting so big!! He is such an adorable cow too!! I need him for my collection!

oh how cute. I love Halloween now. This is Mindy, not John. :) I just wanted to say that Halloween rocks. With kids. Cause they are so cute.
