"Thank God for the joys of family life. I have often said there can be no genuine happiness separate and apart from a good home. The sweetest influences and associations of life are there. Life cannot be fully successful, no matter what goals we attain in the material world, no matter what honors of men come to us in our lives, if we fail as fathers, mothers, and children."
The pictures Mari posted for me are of our sledding adventure with the kiddos. My friend and I walk almost every day together from 3:30-4:30 for our exercise. We wanted to change things up a little and take the kids for ride of their lives. We both happen to have the same kind of sled (thanks Sam & Dan for leaving it w/ Grandma ), and we were good to go. My friends husband harnessed us up w/ a strap system over our shoulder so we could pull easily with no back pain. The snow was smooth and we the sleds glided nicely. We had a great time walking the neighborhood. We got a lot of happy smiles as people drove by or saw us from their yards. Every now and then I would have to tell my friend to "mush." Maybe I should enter the Iditarod this year...you know I do live in the city of the Iditarod Headquarters now. Sign me up! : )

Looks like fun. :-)
Sorry about the double picture, I did not want to risk going back and fixing it after they uploaded!
Kary, you can explain the pictures. . .
Love you!
Mari
