Stephen gets mail!
Yesterday Stephen received a fun birthday package in the mail from my friend Tessa. She always makes the cutest packages. I gave the package to Stephen while he was sitting in his high chair so he could look at it. I told him he couldn't open it until his birthday on Tuesday. He was pretty understanding. : ) He loved touching it and then dropping it on the floor. Aren't packages the best? Have you sent anyone a package lately? I promise you, it will make their day. It does not have to be spendy. Just use a big envelope and stuff it full of pictures or cards, stickers, poems, spiritual thoughts, whatever comes to your mind. You will make someone's day. Just try it. If a package seems like too much, send a card. When is the last time you thanked one of your school or church teachers for teaching you? Do you know how many teachers go unthanked for their service? Now, they have to have "teacher appreciation day" just to clue people in....so, anyway, I'm encouraging you to take time this week to write someone a thank you letter or card. The stamp you use to get it to them will be a priceless gift.

Happy Birthday Buddy! WOW! Can't wait to see the cake Kary! : )
If anyone wants to send me a letter/package I am all willing to receive gratefully (just kidding). Good idea Kare. It is always nice to get a thank you once and awhile. : ) I am not so good with things like that (money lacking) but I do try and say thank you - to teachers, talk givers, family, etc.
I even taught my kids to say thank you to the crossing guards at school - they are the only ones that do and the crossing guards love it! :)
