1. I know I am a child of God; this knowledge sustains me daily and brings me joy!
2. I want others to know that they are children of God too and I try hard to pass it on.
3. Mari tells me I have a "people pleaser problem"....Perhaps she's right (she doesn't like to be wrong) : ), but I think of it as charity. I truly do have compassion for others. I have wanted to be like Jesus for a long time. I don't like others to be alone. When I think of Grandma Lindquist living alone at 92 years of age, it makes my heart hurt. Living alone is not for me! Mari is wise. She reminds me I cannot make everyone happy (hence, the 'people pleaser problem"), but maybe I could save a whale!
: )
4. I love smiley faces! : )
5. Running is fun! Right Sammi? I miss it terribly, but I believe I will run again soon.
6. Ray's dutch oven peach cobbler makes me drool.
7. I wipe my mouth w/ a napkin when I drool.
8. " I hope you Dance" is a super song. I do hope you dance! It will make you feel better.
9. My family is fun to be with. I can't wait until we are all together again.
10. Stephen makes me become as a little child and I love that. I never want to grow up.
11. I think babies smell so sweet, except when they are stinky (ie. poopy)
12. I love how Ray proposed to me on the top of mountain by a campfire w/ a beautiful sunset. when he gave me a scroll with the "Follow Me" song by John Denver written on it, I thought it was soooo romantic..., by the way, I did say "yes." : )
13. Camping is fun, except when babies are little you have to drive around a lot to get them to sleep so you don't keep everyone awake.
14. I'm grateful to have goodly parents that showed us so many good times.
15. I don't know much about geography, don't know much about history....don't know much about a lot of things, but I do know that I love you!
16. I do know a lot about service, making others smile, baking, dancing, singing, teaching, running, walking, being prepared, listening to others, cheering others up, organizing, keeping a clean home and how to change a diaper without getting sprayed..whew!
17. Volleyball is still my favorite sport, but I do love a good game of tennis (you know when someone actually hits it back over the net a few times..)
18. I don't like driving too much either. I wonder if Mari inherited that from me.
19. I still think Nissan XTerra's are cool cars. But, I'm a practical person and believe in staying out of debt, so my little 14 yr. old Nissan truck and Jeep Cherokee will keep me rolling. No car payments feels so good!
20. I believe in food storage....lots of it! Everyone can do it. Even if it's just an extra box or can of food that's on a huge sale at the grocery store. Start early and you will be surprised at how much you can acquire.
21. 72 hr kits bring me more peace. I know where mine are and I even have Stephen and Sage's bag ready to go too. yes, I have always believed...If ye are prepared, ye shall not fear! That goes for everything in life! It really works. Try it, you'll like it!
22. I believe in replacing fear w/ faith.
23. I love cinnamon rolls w/ a lot of frosting.
24. I was given an award in High school swing choir for the 'sexiest hips' or some revealing title like that. I'm sure Dad remembers....oh boy.
25. I'm so glad when Daddy comes home, glad as I can be! So is Stephen and Sage!
That's the first 25 for tonight. I'll post the next 75 later. It's late and it could get dangerous if I keep going on and on right now. I love you all and hope your heart is full of charity. If not, pray w/ all the energy of your heart to have charity...because if you don't, the scriptures say: "ye are nothing!" It's time to BE SOMETHING!

Fun stuff Kary. Keep it coming. I know you must have some good stuff from your youth??? Think back. . . way back!
Kary
That is much easier to read than all 100 at once. I enjoyed reading it. I was just thinking today that my next big thing will be to tackle food storage. I picked up the Ensign while Ben was playing and I had the TV off (it is on most of the time and I was trying something new, no TV) and I read the article about being prepared. I am so close to John graduating and actually having a paycheck each month, that I thought I would prepare myself to get prepared. :) Fun times. Anyway, your comments about preparedness were right on point!!
Mindy
Glad to hear your are preparing to prepare! : ) It is so much fun looking in your pantry and seeing food. Yes, a paycheck does help you to get there. You guys are on your way. TV off time is good too. I usually have Stephen watch a Big big world on PBS kids followed by Sesame street and then it's off for the day. Sometimes I watch the BYU channel or the news later, but I find there are not too many uplifting, worthwhile shows on these days and there is soooo much else to do. Bake cookies for someone, write someone a letter, prepare a lesson, call a friend, organize the house. Scrub the tub, write a love note to put in hubby's lunch.....just some ideas to ponder. Have fun creating a wonderful day! You have so much too offer Mindy! I'm sure John would love some homemade bread (pretty cheap to make and the smell will warm his heart.) try it, you'll like it!
hugs,
Kary
love you!
