1. I love to exercise, but I love meat even more
2. I have not missed a day of church since I joined the Church at age 17
3. I have been loosing my hair since I was 17
4. I do not like to wear jewelry either, except for my wedding ring (it’s special)
5. I need braces, wisdom tooth extraction, cavities filled, and gum surgery
6. I was teased in elementary school for being small
7. I never went to any high school dance (including prom) save for one, and my date was punched in the face in the front of the school (by someone else)
8. The dance was Sadie Hawkins.
9. I have never done martial arts because I am afraid of the damage I would do if I were trained properly—cause you know, I am an ultra-stud
10. I was known as “Charlie Brown” in elementary school
11. That got more than one kid a dirty look from me
12. One of my few memories of Cub Scouts is slicing open my leg with a knife while whittling some wood
13. I am a conspiracy theorist
14. That is because they are all out to get us
15. I am an over achiever
16. I am stuck in an underachiever’s body
17. Life can be very frustrating for me
18. I love to drive in the snow or anywhere else—the more exciting the better
19. I would love to race a stock-car one day
20. I love public speaking, but the public is not fond of me
21. When I first got married my first thought was—where is my journal
22. I am not sure why Mari always talks about the journal thing when she talks about our wedding night—it was an important moment and I wanted to preserve it for posterity
23. Mari spent our honeymoon terribly ill, and I spent it watching Oprah
24. If I could change anything about Mari it would be to eliminate the genetic code in her DNA that causes the human body to age and deteriorate—I don’t mind her teeth
25. My favorite color is red (the color of the second coming)
26. Before I joined the Church I thought about becoming a rock star, but I could not play the guitar
27. I decided to become a real righteous-dude instead
28. I only went to one year of seminary and got an honorable mention for it
29. Santa’s not real?
30. My favorite Church calling would be to be the doorman at the Holy of Holies after the Second Coming and during the Millennium
31. The longest I have run is not as long as Mari has run, but it was pretty far
32. The longest I have walked in a day is 36 miles
33. I do not like having my picture taken
34. I do not like having my voice recorded
35. I do not like being recorded on film
36. Those things will take my soul away
37. Charity is natural for me, but patience is not—they cancel each other out
38. I do not like math
39. My dream job would be to own a bike shop, to run a fly fishing guide service on the side, while taking time to body-build and train for triathlons
40. I am afraid of spiders—they make me scream like a girl when they touch me
41. The Lord of the Rings has replaced Star Wars as my favorite series of movies, but Yoda will always have a special place in my heart
42. I have a great weakness for meat products—red meat, white meat, bird meat, moose meat—it is all good
43. I used to be vegetarian and worked a year and a half at a heath food store
44. I spent most of my time in high school trying to avoid schoolwork
45. I succeeded at it
46. I spent most of my first two years of college learning what I should have learned in high school
47. I have determined that high school was a wasted step in my educational career
48. I use humor as a defense
49. I like to try and finish other people’s sentences before they finish them
50. I do not like to watch sports
51. I do like to play sports
52. I was always last picked to be on the team in school
53. I was the guy who shot the ball in the other team’s hoop
54. Yes, it was that bad
55. I do not know my blood type
56. When I was young my classmates thought I was a weird disease
57. I only know of one major criminal case that went on appeal to the Supreme Court of the United States out of Spokane, Washington
58. One of the few times I was able to make it out with the missionaries in law school we went to the home of the guy who took that case to the Supreme Court
59. The guy was crazy
60. When I was dating Mari I was afraid that if we kissed she would lose interest in me
61. I can’t explain the Jurassic Park thing—dinosaurs excite me I guess
62. I can’t stand it when Mari rearranges the furniture—I lose things
63. When Aunt Flow comes for a visit, I end up buying lots of dairy products for Mari
64. I tan very well, but have no time to spend in the sun—life is full of cruel ironies
65. I love it when Mari shaves her legs
66. I tried shaving my legs once
67. I clogged the razor
68. The hair never grew back on my shins
69. My favorite Disney Princess is Snow White—I feel like I understand her
70. Have you noticed, the world always feels right at Christmas time
71. I used to play hackey sack for hours upon hours a day
72. I can still do 65 push-ups in one set without any training
73. I have broken my knuckles and/or wrists three times
74. I got one of my best grades in law school in the only class that I never read the book for
75. My favorite place is where ever I am
76. I can’t afford a cell phone
77. I don’t believe that cell phones are necessary
78. I have read the entire standard works through entirely
79. I lost count of the number of times I read the Book of Mormon shortly after I was married—I was at 13
80. I read the Book of Mormon, on average, about two times a year
81. The Book of Mormon is still exciting for me to read
82. I do not have a very good short-term memory
83. My memory makes me look like an airhead from time to time
84. I can still remember what Mari was wearing the first time I went to her parents house
85. I can still remember where my first grade teacher was from—Death Valley, California
86. I can still remember the street name of every home I have ever lived in.
87. Weird
88. My favorite musical is Les Miserables—it makes me cry
89. People do change, and often become better for it
90. My favorite food is Mexican
91. Chinese food gives me gas and makes me feel bloated
92. I have only recently discovered what it is to feel bloated—I don’t like it
93. We will never have another George Washington or Abraham Lincoln leading our country—our political process does not produce candidates like that anymore
94. I contemplated traveling the country on a bicycle, and will probably do it some day
95. I believe that used goods are just as good as new except for shoes, underwear, hats, and beds
96. I am more afraid of people than I am of animals
97. Mari was not the first girl I kissed as an RM, but she was the first I married
98. Brigham Young had it right—we are all a few decisions from hell if we are not on our guard
99. Faith and family are the only things that will cure the ills of the world
100. I met Danny Glover on my mission in Toronto, Canada—he was nice

Thanks for the inspiring thoughts and images. : ) Made me feel a lot of emotions. You are such a wonderful addition to our 'samoan circle' family. We truly need you. Your Christlike character and happy humor make us all feel better. You make the world a better place to live in. Thank you brother!
